kudos to fashion designer tory burch, who created the design above and compiled a list of ways to support survivors of the heart-wrenching events in japan. followers of tory’s blog are encouraging her to sell fundraising t-shirts with the above design. i’d buy one.
below is a list of charities currently on the ground in japan:

watching the aussie open has got me in the mood to start playing again myself, and of course like with everything it must be done in style hence making this adorable chanel racket my current obsession.
another part of the chanel sports collection, this tennis racket is made of light weight carbon fiber making it extremely comfortable to play with. the chanel carbon fiber tennis racket is available in select chanel stores world wide.
my.current.obsession - le rituel
undeniably the best shoemaker of modern times christian louboutin has partnered with champagne maker piper-heidsieck to produce ‘le rituel’. ‘le rituel’ is a limited edition bottle of champagne that comes with a glass shoe designed by louboutin. drinking champagne from a woman’s shoe is a ritual that dates back to the 18th century, and this collaboration gives you the opportunity to drink from the best.

although this collaboration happened some time ago and is sure to have sold out everywhere, my love for champagne and louboutins (not to mention my ability to find the impossible) has placed this delightful duo amongst my current obsessions.

louis vuitton skateboard w/ trunk $8,250
with only three of these made they have long since been sold out, but i still absolutely adore it .
my.current.obsession - sam edleman “zoe” boot
these have been amongst my favorite shoes from the moment they came out. after going through two pairs, and them being sold out everywhere for the longest time it appears the sam edleman team is responding to the high demand and putting limited quantities back on the market. i must get a new pair before they disappear again (or as much as i wear them perhaps i should get two).

quilted gold chanel guitar case made for the chanel mobile art exhibition.
chanel decided to make the legendary quilted bag the focus of an event on an international scale: MOBILE ART. just as fashion spreads throughout the world, this traveling event will be presented in asia, the united states, and europe.
in a futuristic pavillion created by the architect zaha hadid, 20 international contemporary artists will exhibit work inspired by the elements that give the emblematic quilted bag from chanel it’s identity.

spanish designer daniel garcia is the creator of this impressive audi a9 concept. it is a stylish proposal for a luxury sports saloon. garcia says the styling of the a9 concept was partially inspired by the stunning architectural style of santiago calatrava’s buildings in “la ciudad de las artes y de las ciencias” (the city of arts and sciences) in his hometown of valencia. the bodywork of the audi a9 concept also features a unique ‘electronic painting’ system which means the vehicle’s color can be changed at the touch of a button. now that is impressive.
they.call.it.fashion zac posen for target - spring 2010
overall i think the designer collaborations with target are a good thing, giving fashionistas who may not otherwise have the opportunity to purchase such designers duds a chance to do so. but personally, i have yet to find a collection with more than a couple pieces that i liked. that is until zac posen released his target collection last month. i absolutely adore most of his collection. view my top 5 looks above, or the entire collection here.
